EDUCATION
Katelyne Atijera, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC earned her Associate of Science degree in nursing from College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Nevada State College in Henderson. In 2018, she received her Master of Science in nursing from Purdue Global University, in Davenport, Iowa.

EXPERIENCE
Katelyne is a nurse practitioner at Comprehensive Cancer Centers. Prior to joining Comprehensive, she was a registered nurse (RN) at St. Rose Hospital in Las Vegas. Locally, she has been a RN for Cancer & Blood Specialists of Nevada, Vegas Valley Rehab Hospital and Apple Home Healthcare, Inc. She was also a phlebotomist for Diagnostic Laboratories.

PATIENT PHILOSOPHY
Katelyne’s patient philosophy is based on a quote from Theodore Roosevelt, “Nobody cares about how much you know, until they know how much you care.” She believes that every patient is different, and each treatment plan is unique, but the quality of care we provide should always remain consistent.

PERSONAL
Katelyne has a 6-year old daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling and cooking.
