Adit Shetty, MD

Dr. Adit Shetty graduated with honors in biological sciences from University of Illinois. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in 2010. Dr. Shetty completed a three-year residency in internal medicine from The University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed a fellowship in leukemia from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and a hematology-oncology fellowship from University of California in Los Angeles, California.

Treats various cancer types with a special interest in genitourinary malignancies (prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers), hematologic malignancies and clinical research.

Dr. Shetty is a medical oncologist-hematologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada where he treats patients with cancer and serious blood disorders.

Dr. Shetty received his fellowship training from world-renowned institutions including MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and University of California in Los Angeles, California. He has received several awards and recognitions including Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Excellence in Academic Medicine, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine Research Day Award. Dr. Shetty has authored and co-authored numerous publications and peer-reviewed original research articles.

In his spare time, Dr. Shetty enjoys spending time with his wife and family. His favorite leisure activities include traveling around the world and hiking.

The diagnosis of cancer can be a challenging time in a patient’s life. As a physician and oncologist, I strive to do everything possible to help my patients in their time of need.
