Cancer-fighting breakfast smoothie

This energizing drink combines many cancer-fighting foods into one healthy and delicious cancer-fighting smoothie. Some of the best cancer preventative ingredients include kale and spinach, fruits, nuts, seeds and even pumpkin (a food rich in vitamin C and beta-carotene—a compound known for preventing abnormal cell growth). Ingredients

  • 2 kale leaves without stems
  • I cup for spinach leaves
  • ½ cup of frozen fruit or fresh fruit
  • ⅓ cup of canned pumpkin
  • 3 tablespoons of seeds or nuts
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 and ¼ cups of soy milk or dairy milk
  • ½ cup of water
  • 6-8 ice cubes

Directions

The directions for this energizing and cancer-fighting drink are pretty simple. Mix all ingredients together in a blender or food processor and blend. Once the blended drink is smooth and thick, it is ready to serve and enjoy.
