MICHAEL T. SINOPOLI, MD
EDUCATION
Dr. Sinopoli attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies, graduating with honors in public policy, and earned his Medical Doctorate from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduating medical school, he did his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and completed radiation oncology residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor, Dr. Sinopoli served as chief resident, and in 2005, he won the American Radium Society’s Young Oncologist Award for his research on adult medulloblastoma brain tumors.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Sinopoli joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in October 2010 after five years of private practice in St. Augustine, Florida. While in St. Augustine, Dr. Sinopoli served as Chairman of the Flagler Hospital Cancer Committee, was the Medical Officer on the St. Johns County Operating Board for the American Cancer Society, and was an active member of the community. He has also authored scientific papers and been a speaker at several national and international conferences in radiation oncology.
PERSONAL
Dr. Sinopoli grew up in Philadelphia as one of seven children. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, wine tasting, photography, and travel.
