ALEXANDRA WALSH, MD, MSPH

Education
Dr. Walsh received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical degree from the Ohio State College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Chicago and her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While completing her fellowship she also received a Master’s degree in Public Health.

Pediatric hematology and oncology

Experience
Dr. Walsh completed her pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship in 2011. During her fellowship she developed an interest in health care disparities and published several papers on the topic. In addition, she was recently nominated to the Young Investigator’s committee of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO).

Personal
Dr. Walsh lives in Summerlin with her son and husband. She enjoys cooking and outdoor activities.

Dr. Walsh is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
