MARGARET TERHAR, M.D., FACS

EDUCATION
Dr. Terhar earned her medical degree in 1985 from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Following medical school, she continued her professional training at Wright State University and completed her general surgical training in 1990. She has obtained continuous post graduate training in breast care and has recently obtained certification in breast ultrasound from the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Terhar began private surgical practice in 1990. She practiced general surgery with a heavy emphasis on breast care for 15 years before dedicating her practice to the care of breast disease. She has served Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio as medical director of the Breast Center and chair of the Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Treatment Planning Conference. She is a member of the Breast Center at Sunrise Steering Committee. She has been an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Dr. Terhar relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005 and dedicates her practice to patients with breast problems.

PERSONAL
In her spare time, Dr. Terhar enjoys scuba diving, photography and cooking. She has been married for over 20 years to Don Gregory, M.D., a local family practice physician.
