ORION Lends a Hand to Individuals

Patients undergoing cancer treatment often experience long hospital stays and missed work days. Loss of work time, plus the costs of healthcare, frequently cause financial distress. ORION was established to help lessen the financial burden resulting from medical crisis by helping to pay for essential needs and services.

Types of Assistance Available

Mortgage or rent payments
Utilities, grocery cards, transportation
Health insurance or COBRA premiums
Other types of assistance evaluated upon request

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants may receive up to $1,500 in a 12 month period.

Patients with a cancer diagnosis who are currently receiving medical treatment for cancer
Residents of Southern Nevada
Patients with a demonstrated financial need
Parents of pediatric cancer patients who can demonstrate hardship
