Cancer Treatment

Cancer treatment refers to a wide array of treatment methods used to treat and cure cancer. Traditional cancer treatment therapies include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. But the latest advances in cancer treatment in the past 50 years have come by way of doing clinical research. Clinical research and participating in clinical trials develops new and more progressive cancer treatment options for all cancer types.
At Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN), we participate in 170 phase I, phase II and phase III clinical trials annually. We have helped develop more than 60 FDA approved cancer treatments through our research program. A new way of cancer treatment that is on the horizon is through immunotherapy, which activates the immune system so your own body can fight off the cancer cells. CCCN offers various forms of immunotherapy through research and through the recent FDA approved therapies.
