EDUCATION:
Dr. Vicuna graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Biomedical Engineering in 1996. He then received his medical degree in 2000 from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, he served as Chief Resident for an additional year. Dr. Vicuna then moved to the Midwest where he recently completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology and Geriatric Medicine at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Vicuna joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in September of 2007 after completing his fellowship. He has participated in numerous clinical trials at Northwestern University and written several articles in peer-reviewed journals.

PERSONAL:
As a Filipino-American native of Las Vegas, Dr. Vicuna is excited to be back home. His wife is an Internist here in Las Vegas and they have 1 son. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
