EDUCATION:
An undergraduate of the University of Buffalo, as well as a
graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Medicine, Dr.
Quagliana completed his internship and residency training at
Buffalo General and Boston City Hospitals. He was a clinical
fellow and chief fellow in Hematology at Salt Lake County General
Hospital. A Captain and Deputy Hospital Commander in the United
States Air Force, Dr. Quagliana received the Air Force Commendation
medal.

EXPERIENCE:
In addition to his positions as Associate Professor of Medicine,
Chief of Medical Oncology and Cancer Coordinator at the University
of Utah School of Medicine, Dr. Quagliana has also served as
the past Chief of Hematology/Oncology and Director of Medical
Education at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital. Dr. Quagliana
eventually founded Cancer and Hematology Centers of Nevada.
He has been a recipient of numerous awards including: the Maimonides
Award, the Thomas Henreich Award, the Humanitarian Award, and
the Fraternal Order of Eagles Cancer Grant Award for Cancer
Research. He has published and presented many articles in the
field of hematology/oncology.
PERSONAL:
Dr. Quagliana and his wife Paula, have three daughters, Rhonda,
Lisa and Angela. In conjunction with his position at Comprehensive
Cancer Centers of Nevada, he continues to conduct cancer research
with several national cancer research groups as well as is affiliated
with UCLA.
