EDUCATION
Dr. Cline-Burkhardt attended the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky for her undergraduate studies. In May
1991, she graduated with a major in biology and an election to Who’s Who in American Universities. Dr. Cline-
Burkhardt received her medical degree from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky in 1996. She completed
her internship and residency in Internal Medicine in 1999 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City,
Iowa where she received the Chief Resident Award for Excellence. Her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology was
completed in 2002 at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky.

Malignant tumors of the GI tract such as cancers of the stomach, pancreas, liver, bile ducts, colon and rectum as well
as intestinal carcinoids and gastrointestinal stromal tumors
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Cline-Burkhardt joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in August 2006. Prior to that, from July 2002
through May 2006, she was on staff in Hematology/Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio
specializing in the treatment of gastro intestinal and genitourinary solid tumors. Her duties included giving lectures
to and teaching fellows in Hematology/oncology as well as residents in Internal Medicine. Se has been principal
investigator/sub investigator on numerous clinical trials including a national study on patients with pancreatic cancer
through the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group.
PERSONAL
In her spare time, Dr. Cline-Burkhardt enjoys outdoor activities with her family which includes 2 children.
