An undergraduate of Stanford University, Dr. Allen
received her medical degree from the University of California
at San Francisco. Dr. Allen completed her internship and residency
in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and her fellowship
in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Allen is a past president of the Nevada State Medical Association
and the Clark County Medical Society. Having held numerous state
and national positions, she currently is Medical Director of
the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Las Vegas, Chairman of Nevada
Humanities and Chairman of Blood Systems, Inc., the national,
not-for-profit blood bank. She is also a member of the American
College of Physicians and serves on the board of directors of
the Audio Digest Foundation.
Dr. Allen has been in private practice as a medical oncologist
since 1981 and with Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada since
1997. She is married and has one daughter.
